As  a result of the generosity of Alfred Wagg the group obtained the use of a new camp site at Hindleap Warren, Wych Cross. The retained the use of this site into the 1960’s until Edgar Cooper moved from Cranston Road to Hackenden Nursery, where he made part of his land available as a training area for the Group.  Hindleap Warren passed into the ownership of the London Federation of Boys Clubs and today is a successful residential activity centre.
