The Chairman proposed a vote of thanks to Miss Collins and Mr. C. E. Collins for operating the lantern, and to Dr. S. Lewis Walker, not only for the instructive address he had given, but also for the trouble he had taken with the boys. He emphasised the fact that it was a movement that deserved the support of everyone, and that it was the duty of all to support it, for it was bound to be of use to their country.  Dr. Walker returned thanks to Mr. White for presiding and for the substantial assistance he had always rendered to the Scouts of East Grinstead. He pointed out the need the Troop had for pecuniary support if the instructive work was to continue. Both votes were heartily accorded.
