Group Centenary Camp
This camp was held at Pewits Field, Blackland Farm Camp Site, near East Grinstead the weekend of 6th to 8th June. About 120 members and leaders attended and they were blessed with ideal camping weather. Members of the Beaver Scout Colonies visited the camp on Saturday and took park in a full and varied programme which made full use of the site activities, including canoeing, abseiling and pot holing.
On the Saturday evening, ex members, leaders and parents were invited to a Bar B Q and Camp Fire when over 100 persons attended. The leaders provided and Bar B Q and the camp fire was led by the Buckhurst Cub Scout Leader, Graham Jones. The following photographs give a flavour of the camp.
